What to do when your baby wont stop crying

How to calm a crying baby 101.

It’s tough when your baby won’t stop crying. You may be worried that something is wrong with your child, that you’ll lose your cool, that your parenting skills aren’t up to the job, or that you’ll never connect with your baby. But you can handle it! Learning the right techniques can help soothe an upset, unresponsive, or colicky baby while keeping you calm and in control.

  • Recognize your limits. Pay attention to internal warning signs when you are feeling overwhelmed. The sooner you spot your personal limits, the easier it is to plan ahead—for extra help, a break, an excursion outside or a quick pep talk from a friend or loved one. The small things you do to prepare will help you get in the best frame of mind to care for your baby.
  • Remember that time is on your side. For most babies, crying peaks at six weeks and then gradually eases off. There is an end to the crying on the horizon! You may have to put in a little extra work right now and be very patient, but things will get better.
  • Reach out for support. If you can, enlist help during the fussiest times of the day. Say yes when people offer to help with housework, meals or babysitting. Find a group of moms to talk to and get out of the house when you can. Knowing you have some help on the way can make a big difference.
  • You don’t have to be perfect. Parenting is not about perfection. It would be impossible to be fully present and attentive to an infant, especially a crying infant, 24 hours a day. Experts estimate that meeting your infant’s needs at least one third of the time is enough to support healthy bonding and secure attachment. Don’t worry about getting it exactly right all of the time. Instead, try to relax and enjoy the times when your baby isn’t crying.

My story.

                     My life story summed up.

My Name is Brittany born August 5th 1993. I'm married with one beautiful daughter. I was married on July 21st 2013 to the greatest man alive he is a wonderful father and my best friend.  My life revolves around my small but amazing family, Everything I do I do for them. My husband and I are always together I hate being apart besides work. He is my other half when he is not around I'm not complete. Sounds cleshay but true...

I am one strong women, I have to be my daughter is depending on me to show her right from wrong and I want nothing but the best for my little angel. My life could not get any better. All the late night feeds, Trips to the hospitals, and the stinky diapers are worth it, I'm so happy to call her my daughter. Mommy loves her little angel.

I'm still a Daddy's girl no matter what he is my hero I have always looked up to him and never wanted to disappoint him. He is truly an amazing man. My dad has always been there for me know matter what. I can always count on him if I need help or just want to talk.

Yes i went there this is me on the left and my mom on the right. I made this picture to show how much we look alike at the same age. I look just like her It's a good thing she is beautiful. I love you mom... I don't need to write much your my mom I love you with all my heart and your an amazing women, It's as simple as that if you don't like it who cares. Love you mommy....

Call me crazy but she is my little sister and I will do anything to protect her. She is the only one who knows every little thing about me. She was always next to me growing up so she knows me from the beginning of it all. She has my back like I have hers. We are sisters 5 years apart and still close like 5 months <3 Love you Jessica Starr....

I have one cat named Penny he lives with my dad but he is my other baby. We adopted him in the November 2009. He was about 6 weeks old. He is such a good cat we can leave the door open and he will stand there and look out but will not leave. If we do put him outside he will sit by the door and never leave the porch. He is a mommas boy...
